Main Purpose of the Role
As a Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and control systems across a range of projects.
The Person
My client is looking for experienced control systems engineers who are keen to be involved in technically challenging, in-depth projects. You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
•HNC/Degree in Engineering
•PLC programming experience
•HMI programming experience
•Electrical design
Key Responsibilities
As part of the development team you will be responsible for complex controls projects covering a wide range of machine functions. Typical project lifecycle/duties will include;
•Design of schematic drawings for electrical control system
•Writing PLC and HMI control codes
•Commissioning machines for validation and testing
In addition to this you will also provide technical expertise and support to commissioning and field service engineers by telephone/email and undertake occasional UK and overseas travel when required.
Salary and Benefits
£35000 - 45000 depending on experience, pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus stat, 40 hour week.
